Blog maintenance doesn’t end in publishing articles on a regular basis.
Or optimizing your MLM blog to get higher ranking in Google and other search engines. No.
You need to do more than that if you want to improve your blog, gain visibility and eventually, generate leads for your MLM business.
So how do you do it?
1. Change your old theme
How long have you been using the same theme for your MLM blog? A year? Or perhaps more than that?
If that’s the case, then it’s time to change it. Understand that using the same old design and theme can affect your blog in a negative way. It can be a drawback and can decrease its functionality.
What you need to do is revamp your blog and find themes that will be suitable for your brand. And make sure that it’s a responsive theme.
2. Use minimum plugins and widgets
Is your blog clutter-free? Or is it filled with widgets and plugins? Then it’s time to declutter it and keep it organized.
Having too many plugins and widgets can slow down the speed of your MLM blog. And no reader wants to visit a blog that loads slower than a Youtube video when buffering.
But it’s not to say that you no longer have to install plugins. Just keep the ones of utmost importance.
3. Don’t forget about social networking
Ignoring social networking is a big blunder in blogging. You need social media for traffic and MLM leads, keep that in mind.
Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest are great places not only to meet friends but to find your next qualified prospect. And more importantly, they can drive tremendous traffic to your blog.
You’ll never who you’ll recruit by just logging on to your Facebook account.
4. Talk to your readers
How do you deal with comments? Do you ignore your comment section or do you interact with your commenters?
If you keep on ignoring your readers or you refuse to respond to their questions and feedback, it will not help improve your blog.
Remember that generating traffic is not the be all and end all of blogging. You need to retain your audience’s attention too.
5. Content is king
This should go without saying and it means that you need to update your content frequently. But don’t just post any content.
It needs to be engaging, informative, and relevant.
Otherwise, all your efforts in improving your blog will be put to waste.
