Early Start
Nothing beats an early bird. Well, that’s true.
Especially if you have so many things to do. Don’t wait until noon or the afternoon.
Wake up early and start on your tasks the soonest time possible.
Fixed Time Period
Ever heard of timeboxing? Then it’s time you do just that. Instead of working without a fixed time frame, start putting one.
If you can’t seem to work for an hour, start with thirty minutes. Until you feel like you can keep on going.
Task Division
If you feel like there are so many things to do, why not try doing them in batches?
This is so you can be able to knock them off in a single session. And the next thing you knew, you’re already done.
Mini-milestones
When you sit down to work, what do you intend to accomplish? A blog post? An hour doing social media marketing?
Put a target in mind before you start working. Doing so will keep you from leaving your work desk and have your productivity flowing.
Daily Goals
What do you intend to finish for the day? Create a to-do list and put the tasks that need to be done in writing.
This will help you stay focus, steer clear of distraction and finish all the tasks at hand.
So make sure to set targets for each day in advance.
Easy first
Most people prefer to tackle the easiest tasks first thing in the morning. If you’re like them, then maybe that’s also what you need to do.
This way, you’ll breeze through the day and only worry about the hard tasks later on. It will also give you the momentum you need to handle the hard ones.
Distraction-free
Working in a distraction-free environment will do wonders for your productivity. So before you start working, it’s important that your work space is somewhere that offers no distraction.
Otherwise, you’ll find yourself taking a lot longer to finish your tasks. You don’t want that, do you?
Take breaks
Who says you have to work yourself to death? Take necessary breaks. If you feel like taking a break every two hours, then by all means do so.
Remember that you need this in order to relax and recharge so you’ll be ready to take on the remaining tasks.
You’re no use if you can’t function properly.
