It’s easier to procrastinate when you feel like you don’t have anything left to do.
Well, think again.
When was the last time you focused on blog promotion? I’m guessing – awhile.
So in order to stay productive, why not focused on getting more viewers for your blog. Don’t know how? Well, read on.
Have a neat design and layout.
Did you honestly think design and layout doesn’t contribute in getting more viewers? That’s where you’re wrong.
The thing is having a clean and appealing design and layout is pretty important because that’s what viewers see first. Not your content, not how you are as a blogger, but your blog design.
While an unappealing blog design will likely bore your readers to death, a blog with too much of everything is likely an eyesore, thus driving them away. What’s more, the latter can cause your blog to load slower.
So when it comes to choosing your blog design, make sure that it’s neither unappealing or an eyesore. And don’t forget to keep all the essential plugins and widgets. They’re essential for a reason.
Just remember – less clutter, the better.
Make your blog an easy to navigate site.
How easy it is for your viewers to search for a particular post – one that’s been written months ago?
Do they have to scroll endlessly to get to it? If that’s the case, then you’re doing it wrong.
If there’s a common reader’s pet peeve is visiting a hard-to-navigate blog. No menu, no search bar, no categories – nothing. Simply endless posts they have to go through.
It’s really important to have a blog that is easy to navigate around, especially if you want to enhance reader experience and get them to come back again.
Write original content.
This has been said a million times before and I can’t stress that well enough.
You want to increase traffic? Write original content. You want to have loyal readers? Write original content.
Keep in mind that while a clean design and layout and an easy to cruise around blog is great and all, what is going to make your visitors come back again is your content.
Content is what makes your blog worthwhile, and if you want to stand out, show off your personality in your posts, make them yours, make them unique.
If you’re running out of ideas what to write, you can brainstorm or get inspiration from other bloggers.
Pay attention to what your readers want to see in your blog
Do your readers love giveaways and freebies? Then why not give them that?
I’m not saying you post giveaways on a daily basis. Surely, you’ll soon run out of free stuff to give.
Instead do it on a monthly or, if you can, bimonthly basis. Your readers will love and they are guaranteed to come back.
Since everybody loves giveaways, this method will certainly work.
Know that you know how to get people to visit your blog and increase its monthly viewers, make sure to apply these techniques to get the result you want.
