It’s no secret that social media can do wonders for blog traffic.
In fact, I, myself use social media to get traffic for my MLM blog.
Since it’s the most used platform on the internet, it makes for a great venue to gain visitors and subscribers to my blog. And you can do it too.
If you’re not utilizing social media to get targeted traffic for your MLM blog, it’s time that you do. Let me teach you how.
Look for the popular social media/social networking sites and create an account
This one is easy. We all know that the most popular social networking site is Facebook, followed by Twitter.
With millions of active users, Facebook gives you a vast pool of potential visitors for your MLM blog. Now, who doesn’t want that?
So the next step is to create a page for your MLM business. You can create two actually. One for yourself and one for your business.
While the business page can be used to post updates, links, images and videos that can help your blog get the web presence it needs, the personal account can help you gain access to numerous groups related to your industry where you can be a member of.
Twitter, on the other hand, is a very straightforward social microblogging site. It lets you follow users and be followed by them in return. By hash tagging (#) your keyword, you’ll be able to target the right people.
Make use of social bookmarking sites
Who says social networking sites are the only social media sites you can use as your marketing platform? You can also use social bookmarking sites to increase the visibility of your MLM blog.
In fact, most social bookmarking sites do the work for you. All you have to do is build links with them and they’ll share your content with other users. A couple of good social bookmarking sites include Digg, Reddit, and StumbleUpon.
Add photo-sharing websites into the mix
While it is barely two years old, Pinterest’s active users are growing by the numbers. That’s why it’s no surprise the pinboard style-photo sharing website is becoming more and more popular to personal and business bloggers alike.
How can a photo-sharing website help you drive targeted traffic to your MLM blog, you ask? By submitting the URL of your latest blog post, Pinterest will let you pin the image of that post into their site and publish it in the home page of other users.
Of course, like Twitter, you have to follow numerous users too so as to gain more followers.
Social media marketing takes a lot effort and time alright. But if you want to maximize the readers and visitors of your MLM blog, it’s definitely worth a shot. You’ll even be surprised when your hard work finally pays off.
