How to Conduct MLM Business with a Stranger

Do you find it hard to strike a conversation with a stranger; let alone conduct your MLM business with them?

Don’t fret; you’re not the only one.

Unless you’re a naturally an outgoing person, it’s absolutely normal to feel nervous whenever you are surrounded with people you don’t know.

But if you want to be successful in the world of network marketing, you have to get out of your comfort zone and learn to mingle with others.

The only way you’re going to generate more leads is when you expand your contact base.

Meeting new people and building new relationships are essential in growing your MLM business.

Head out and wander around your community. You’ll never know how many new potential partners you can meet just by strolling around. Go to a high-traffic area, preferably the shopping mall. It is a great place to meet a lot of people and go prospecting without being too obvious.

Once you’re there, act naturally; you don’t want people to be suspicious of you.

Just relax and do your shopping. Make casual observations while you’re looking through a pile of clothes.

But don’t get too distracted. You have to keep your eyes out for the right prospect. The right prospect will be someone that your network marketing company caters to. But of course, you’re not focusing to recruit a simple user; you’re looking to find a prospect that you can do business with for a long period of time.

As a general rule, you’re looking for someone who appears to be “with it”-sharp, well-groomed, and ambitious.

Approach your prospect and strike a conversation as naturally as you can. Remember, the secret to talking about your MLM business with a stranger is to talk other things first. If a mall-wide sale is going on, comment on how low-priced the goods can be bought at the time.

Or mention how great it is to be out shopping on a day like that.

If the conversation goes well, slowly turn the discussion towards your objective. You can tell if the person is open to discuss the subject or not. Proceed if you can feel a growing interest. If not, end the conversation politely and move away.

Assuming your prospect took a great interest on your proposition; give them some insights about your MLM business. But don’t overwhelm them with information. It might confuse them. Just give them an idea and leave them wanting to know more.

Don’t pressure them into joining. Simply hand out your business card and wait for them to contact you.

This approach may not work all the time. You may meet people who just aren’t interested in your MLM business. They may not even stop to listen or care about what you have to say.

Don’t take these rejections personally. What you have to do is move on to the next person. Remember, your goal is not to make everybody accept your proposal, but to stay open to the possibilities of finding a potential business partner.

Using this technique to prospects, it’s free. But time is a great factor.

In order to counter the time problem, what you really need is a tool to follow up with these interested prospects.

This tool I recommend is to have your own website domain name printed on your namecard.

So when your prospects leave you, your website can follow up with them to turn them to your customer.

But this website is not a ordinary website. This website should be a page where it can capture your prospects email address, and when your prospects enter their email, an automated email system will be able to follow up with them.

Just like this.

A simple one page lead capture mechanism.

Once your prospects enter the email, they will be shown this.

A video which do the presentation for you. You don’t even be there. It do the presentation for you 24 Hours, 7 Days a week.
